How Do Neurotoxins Work?
Neurotoxins such as Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, Nabota and Daxxify® temporarily relax targeted facial muscles. They work by blocking the nerve signals that tell muscles to contract—specifically by preventing the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for muscle movement.
